While a child is born, there’s all sorts of celebration. The distribution of gifts, kisses given and thrown, congratulations provided. Where were the gifts? Oh yeah, the baby’s shower. That was a few weeks prior. At present, at the time of birth, there were no baby products as well. No burp clothes,  no high chairs, no teething rings. Where were they? Not at the hospitals, that’s for sure. They would merely be on the way. Is that not the case for longer the baby is a child? Underfoot, in the way, swinging over it. Forever in a way. Not a play time.
